Being a woodwind specialist or “doubler” requires one to have and be able to play a multitude of woodwind instruments.  Brian began his musical career playing clarinet.  While in high school, he added flute and saxophone to his credentials.  In college, he added bassoon and oboe.  Over the years Brian has also picked up quite a few ethnic and folk instruments as well.

Brian has amassed a large collection of instruments to have at his disposal for just about any woodwind need.  Each instrument category will have a list of his equipment and an occasional photo.  He also has a slightly different philosophy on equipment than a lot of musicians.  Brian believes you should be able to make anything sound good without the need to spend huge amounts on top-of-the-line instruments.  Upgrades are always an option later.
